Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the tool box with two coats of Mushroom.




     
  2. Use 1" painter's tape to mask off stripes at either side of the toolbox. (Refer to photo for placement.) Use a cosmetic sponge to dab on two coats of Cotton Ball. Remove tape.




     
  3. Tape off narrow stripes on each side of Cotton Ball stripes. Use cosmetic sponge to dab Cobalt accent stripes. Remove tape.

     
  4. Cut burlap into a rectangle. (The size will be determined by the size of the tool box; refer to photo.)

     
  5. Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the burlap loosely with Cotton Ball. (Do not paint it solidly or paint all the way to the edges.)




     
  6. Place found objects, like nuts, bolts, or screws, on the burlap and spell out "Tools". Once you are happy with the placement, adhere the objects into place.




     
  7. When the "lettering" is dry, place the tools sign on the front of the tool box and adhere with E6000. (Refer to photo for placement.)
