I didn't exactly understand the instructions. Could someone please explain this to me with less abbreviations, or explain the abbreviations? They looked really cute in the picture though, and unlike some baby booties, they looked comfortable too!

starting with row 1.. I am assumeing you know how to crochet somewhat ch = chain row 2.. dc = double crochet .. yarn over needle insert into work pick up thread on needle bring back through work now have 3 loops on needle, catch up more yarn on needle bring through two stiches on needle, catch yarn again then final two still on needle row 3.. same abbreviations used as above row 4. hdc= half double crochet ( yarn over needle insert into work bring up another loop yarn over needle and bring through all 3 loops on needle. ....hdc2tog.. same as above but hold off on bringing final loop through . instead do another hdc in next stich and then bring the last loop on that one through all 6 loops on needle. row5-8 uses same abbreviations as already explained.

I love THESE booties. Have great-grandbabies I can make these for. Thanks!

finally a bootie pattern that sound easy and I think I can understand. I just started crocheting about a month before Christmas and made about 5 scarves then graduated to beanies and hats although I need a pattern for a hat with a brim. and now this lady that has this store has agreed to sell my items if she can. She says to make baby items that they always sell.
